Cooling Tower Water Treatment

Open cooling towers concentrate the minerals in the make-up water as water evaporates. Without treatment this causes scale on heat exchangers and condensers, corrosion of pipes and equipment, and biological growth including algae, slime and Legionella bacteria. Target designs cooling water programs for industrial cooling towers, HVAC chillers and closed cooling loops.

Monitoring and service

We calculate the water balance of your tower, set the cycles of concentration and chemical dose, and visit regularly to test the water, check corrosion and microbiological levels, and adjust the program. You receive a service report after every visit. Tower water balance and cycles are calculated with our ChemTrak software, and operating records are tracked in Krenos.
